| 72 HOUR MARATHON "FISHING FOR THE KIDS" GUIDE STYLE! |
Who in their right mind would spend 72 straight hours out on Pewaukee lake, in the beginning of October, to raise money and awareness for an inner city school, to help fund a social worker program, outreach ministries, and every day operational costs? Thats right, yours truly. Some people call me nuts, some people ask why. Look at these pictures. Thats your answer. If not me, than who? The children of the city of Milwaukee are the future of our society. It is our responsibility to teach them to be Christ Like, and successful members of society. With out that being the case, we have no society. |
I want to personally thank everyone that participated in our 2007 72 hour fishing for the kids marathon. We raised over $6,000 this year. Way to go. We are fortunate to have people like my Tour sponsors, businesses, all listed on the front page of this website, as well as dozens of individuals, who all donated towards our efforts to support Mt. Calvary Lutheran School and its outreach to our cities children. John Laimon at Smokey's Muskie Shop, is a huge part of this effort. He allows us to run the outing out of the marina, which also gives us safe haven during bad weather. He promotes us on the Cutting Edge Outdoors radio show. Thank you John so very much. Also promoting us this year, The Journal Sentinel, Channel 12, Dan Small Outdoors Radio, The Wisconsin Muskie Tour, The Sherman Park Today News Paper, and The Waukesha Freeman.
